Coachella 2011 OFFICIAL lineup announced Arcade Fire, Kings of Leon, Kanye West

Well, the rumor poster had some truths on there, but now we get the for real list.

Just a few notes from my personal wishlist as LA Rock Examiner... CeeLo Green is officially there. Neon Trees is back for a second Coachella. Barsuk Records represents with Menomena (without Brent Knopf), and Phantogram both playing Sunday.

We're gonna DANCE in the desert with Animal Collective, Big Audio Dynamite, and Cults.

And dreams really do come true. Mariachi El Bronx will be there on Saturday. Sadly, sometimes dreams don't come true--Duran Duran is confirmed for Sunday. I hope they're up against The National because that's who I'll go see--brought to us by Goldenvoice.

Mumford & Sons got people flocking to the Jimmy Kimmel stage in droves and no doubt people will also flock to the desert to see them.

The top headliners are truly an eclectic mix with Kanye West, Kings of Leon, Kanye West, and The Strokes. And secondary level headliners are also truly a wide variety. PJ Harvey, The Black Keys, Mumford and Sons, Interpol, The Chemical Brothers, Caifanes, Robyn, Death from Above 1979, and The National.

Missing for me: The Moondoggies who are from Seattle and have been here in LA a few times. MUSE because they are the best live band in the universe. Nitzer Ebb because they put out a fabulous album in 2010. B.o.B. and Bruno Mars (obviously!) as they were huge this year. El Guincho for more dancing in the desert. Brent Knopf...
